Welfare consists of actions and procedures on the part of institutions which strive for the well-being of individual in need. These efforts aim to improve the financial position of the needy by providing employment, skill for employment, subsidize food and eatables, physical health. Most of such help is provided by family members, relatives and local wealthy God fearing community. Owners of Pasban IT Group are God fearing and wealthy people, who have devoted their energies to the welfare of the less fortunate segment of society. They have many project to their credit.
Pasban Welfare Centre
A centre has been established at 330-D, Peoples Colony-1, Faisalabad, Pakistan to look into the problems of the less fortunate segment of society. Staff receives applications, carries out physical verification of the applicant by visiting the locality and recommends the line of action. Then this verified application is forwarded to Chairman Major Retd. Shahnawaz or Dr. Shamaila Shahnawaz for orders. After due consideration monetary help or school tuition fee or clothing or rations for one year are sanctioned. The individual is issued a Ration Card and the applicant is informed to collect the items once a month for full one year. Presently more than 1500 people are benefitting every month from this centre.

Free Cooked Food Service
About seven hundred people are served cooked food daily at three different places and times. About three hundred (poor) people enjoy free food at Pasban Square (Gaitanwala Chowk) Satiana Road, Faisalabad. Additionally about two hundred fifty (poor) people are served dinner just after sunset (Maghrib Prayer) in-front of Technical High School Mosque, at corner of D-Ground, Peoples Colony Faisalabad. Moreover, another group of about one hundred fifty people are offered free food at Pasban Square (Gaitanwala Chowk) one hour after sunset.

Pasban Medical Centre
FREE medical centre has been established on Satiana Road at 330-D, Peoples Colony-1, Faisalabad. One qualified doctor, two male nurses and two female nurses are employed. Timings of the medical centre are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. All patients coming to the centre are examined, necessary tests are carried out and medicine is given on daily basis. If some patients come from a far off place, they are given medicine for a longer period. Patients needing Liver Treatment are taken to Liver Centre near District Head-Quarters Hospital. Test fees are paid by the Pasban Medical Centre and if other medicines or injections are administered, the bills are paid by the Pasban. |

Liver Centre Faisalabad
Major Retd. Shahnawaz is an active donor to the liver centre and often sponsors patients for full treatment. Recently he was told about difficulties to patients, when electric power goes off. He has donated an Electric Generator work rupees 1,600,000/= to the centre.
